Dr. Gordon's credentials are superior. After graduating with the highest honors, Alpha Omega Alpha -medical honor society, from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, he completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine. He later earned the prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine under the instruction of world renowned facial plastic surgeon, Calvin M. Johnson, M.D. In addition to academic honors and scholarships, Dr. Gordon is one of a select few surgeons to achieve double board certification by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Gordon has recently been promoted to Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine where he also serves as Coordinator of Residency Education in the Division of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Yale Surgical Society, the American Medical Association, the Connecticut State Medical Society and the Fairfield County Medical Society.
Dr. Gordon has written and lectured extensively on current concepts in facial plastic surgery and is recognized for his expertise in the most sophisticated techniques in face lifting, eye and brow lifting and nose surgery. He appears frequently on television and in the print media to discuss and educate the public on the field of facial plastic surgery. Acknowledged by both fellow physicians and the public, Dr. Gordon is honored as a top physician in many publications such as Castle Connolly's Top 100 Doctors, Best Doctors in America and the Guide to America's Top Physicians: Consumer Research Council of America. In addition, Dr. Gordon participates in and contributes to the City of Hope National Medical Center to advance the research and treatment of disease and ultimately help improve the lives of the afflicted and has been honored with the Spirit Of Life award in acknowledgement of his dedication.
Dr. Gordon is based in Greenwich and Wilton, Connecticut, and receives patients for private consultations in both offices.
